Who We Are and What We Do

Learning childThe Creative Science School is a focus option program within the Portland Public Schools for children in grades K-7. Students are encouraged to be independent thinkers, learners and problem solvers. Our students develop and demonstrate the ability to create questions, formulate solutions and apply results throughout their lives.

CSS Has a New Home

Creative Science School joyfully announces that we are moving to a new home in Fall of 2008. We are ready to grow and expand and will be welcoming children into our program. Our new, permanent home is the Clark Elementary Building, 1231 SE 92nd Ave. The large brick building and spacious natural grounds provide ample space to grow and meet demand for spaces in our program.

Our new building represents a special opportunity to secure a place at CSS for your child. To find out about joining our community, come to our informational meetings.

Meanwhile, take a quick peek at the building we'll move into on Google Maps.
